Captain Joaquin
is from Hawaii and has sailed, surfed and dived all his life, over 200 000 miles on all seven seas. Lucky Lady is his fifth boat. Since five years he sails and maintains her. This includes a rebuild of the interior in Panama, new running rig in New Guinea and the recent installation of a new Yanmar diesel engine and generator in Borneo.
Intructor for free diving, surfer, US champion spear fisherman and much more. Mister Ocean! Knows the spots with the clearest water on the planet. Claudia
is from Switzerland, speaks many languages and has a passion for wooden boats and travel. She helped to build and sail a traditional Malaysian junk in her twenties. Became a landlubber and teacher during the education time of her son. Since five years she is back in the sailing world.
She was part of all the rebuilding of Lucky Lady and found out that she has a flair for boat interior design. She loves the outdoor experience and the ocean. "Live a free life on a boat, going places and meeting all kinds of interesting people of all nationalities and cultures."
